In the summer of 2015 I spoke at the Montreat Youth Conference in front of 1200 people as a member of Jeremiah Project, which is a group of students who assist with the event. The following year I gave a speech at TEDxYouth@Ann Arbor 2016.
At the start of college, I began to seriously study speaking. I took the Communications 101 class "Principles of Oral Communication". Following that class I began working as a Communication Consultant for the Speaking Center in the Davidson College Center for Teaching and Learning. I continue to be interested in speaking and occasionally participate in speech competitions.
