After a visit by a study abroad representative my freshman year of high school, I decided I wanted to spend a semester abroad at some point during my studies. Six years later I am now studying abroad in France through the Davidson in France program. I spent a month in Paris and am now part way through three months in Tours taking intensive language and French culture classes.
While abroad I have been able to engage my passion for photography. As part of the Davidson in France program there are several trips throughout the semester. The director of the program has asked me to document our travels with my camera, and I look forward to sharing the photos I capture.
I am in the process of becoming fluent in French and, after months of deliberation, declared a second major in French & Francophone Studies. I believe that this second major, when combined with my political science major, will provide me with plenty of opportunities at the intersection of those two fields.
